RT7736系列產品是使用了立錡專有之智慧抖頻技術（SmartJitter™）的返馳式開關電源PWM控制器，不僅可降低系統進入突發切換綠能模式(Burst Switching Green Mode)運行時的電磁幹擾，也可消除輸出抖頻漣波。
RT7736為電流模式PWM控制器，內含斜率補償，具有前緣遮蔽 (LEB)和逐週期電流限制特性。它RT7736具有出色的省電性能，特別是輕載與空載的操作條件下，可簡化設計，降低外部元件數量。
該控制器具有完整的安全保護機制，包括欠壓閉鎖(UVLO)、過壓保護(OVP)、超載保護(OLP)、次級側整流器短路保護(SRSP)、電流檢測引腳開路保護以及逐週期電流限制。
RT7736為筆記本電腦電源適配器應用提供了性價比高、結構緊湊的解決方案，其封裝為SOT-23-6。
